For some reason, McCabe refused to interview with Bezoz’s Washington Post. Isn’t he working in DC for decades? Why refuse the local paper?

McCabe dug his own grave. There’s a reason he stepped down and went on leave to wait for retirement. The FBI needs to clean house between the political bias and inability to find a future school shooter who used his real name for a YouTube handle. It seems every time something terrible happens we learned the FBI either couldn’t find the person or talked to them and cleared them.

These are people that think they know better than everyone else. They want to steer us to socialism despite the fact it always fails. They are the #1 threat to democracy. However, liberals think that’s fine as the end justifies the means.
Government employees have no term limit, most of them work in the government for the lifetime. If the government employees coordinate with each other, and if the government become big enough, they can become the real ruler for the country. This can be dangerous.
They have union to protect them. Pension system would encourage them to stay in the government for many decades. Private emoloyees usually work for many employees during the career and can’t be laid off or fired easily.
maybe we should have a term limit on government employees as well. After 8 years, government employees need to be out and work in private sector.
Also eliminate pensions for all the public employees. Let them have 401k instead.
I’ve said for a long time the biggest threat to freedom is appointed positions. They can implement regulations without a vote of congress. They aren’t accountable to voters either. It’s how the parties do their dirty work. EPA is a great example.

Comey was forced by McCabe to reopen Hillary investigation in the last minute since McCabe waited and waited until Huma husband’s laptop can not be hidden anymore. If McCabe reported about the laptop earlier, Comey might have time to control damage for Hillary.
Comey was appointed, but McCabe is a career officer. Comey and McCabe were good friends, but seems that they may start blaming each other once McCabe details is released. At lease, they would blame each other in public to minimize their responsibility.
It’s very unfortunate that FBI and DOJ were politicalized. I think a term limit on key career positions need to be there to prevent government employees from taking over the control of the country.
A small government with employee term limit can serve the people much better. Eliminate pension and pay them 50% higher, no lifetime employment, at most 8-10 years then employment would be terminated by contract.
Stop kissing the rear part of an administration that is the most corrupt this country has ever seen.

Daughter, son in law, you name the family member is holding government positions even though they haven’t had a security clearance. Ivanka is to meet the South Korean world leader that made the 2 nuts, the rocket boy and the agent orange meet soon. She doesn’t even have a security clearance! No experience on nothing but gathering authorization for their trade marks as soon as any president lands on the white house.

Can we just disband the political parties, fire all the politicians, and start over? Everyone needs to run on their own merits not how much funding they get from the 2 parties. With social media, it seems like it’d be pretty easy to run a low-cost campaign.
How about doing away with the electoral college, first? Just tally them up after the first Saturday in November of election year. No exit polling, no hanging chads to influence matters. One vote = one real vote.
I think that’s going in the wrong direction. There’s a reason the US is a republic and not a democracy. I honestly don’t want people that can’t name the 3 branches of government voting. Uniformed people voting emotionally based on feelings is a recipe for terrible decisions. I’d go the opposite way with more restrictive voting rights.
People don’t realize a democracy can be tyrannical. If you had a national vote on confiscating half the net worth of all billionaires to fund schools and social programs, I bet it would pass. That’s not good.

It’s funny that when I was growing up, I used to read Reader’s Digest. My favorite magazine. And I remember this country was the sunshine of “democracy”.
There’s no democracy in this country when the rich people control the politicians to the point we see tax cuts for industries or people who don’t need them while the rest eat shit. Why don’t we worry about that?

I don’t get how the age can vary for different things. Personally, if the country can send you to war then you should be an adult. If you want to make other things 21, then the age to join the military should be 21. Whatever the age is make it the same.
It’d a step backward, because most people have no business voting on things they can’t understand. It’d be like letting interns run a company or children run a family. You don’t do it that way for a reason.
