He is the one who got the famous 800k overbid in sunnyvale. So yes, he is listing it way under.

his listing is always way below market price. i think that this home will sell for 2.7 to 2.8M
Both Redfin and Zillow estimated value is around $2.3M, which is slightly above asking. I would think fair market value is higher, for 5/3 2700 sq ft house.
This house is in Monta Vista HS, so that is good. It is a bit close to 2 highways (280 and 85), which is negative. I don’t believe Redfin/Zillow estimate take into consideration local location (like highway, large road, etc). So proximity to highway should not be discounted in estimate. Do you think the Redfin/Zillow estimates are correct?
He is trying to get newspaper to claim he can get the home sold $XXX,XXX over asked again.

Agree. This is a marketing gimmick to get eyeballs in the hopes of starting a bidding war while generating free publicity for the listing agent
