Investing In California Real Estate? Here Are A Few Things You Should Know

San Diego has good houses. I like this house 2 blocks to water. Way better than EPA and similar price.

Maybe Southern California is a good place to invest now. San Diego and LA is cheaper than Seattle, with prop 13 protection.

Is economy not doing very well in Southern Cal?

Its doing well, but not as well as the bay area. And, by the way, that is a nice house in a good neighborhood.

But it is 6 blocks. Not 2 as advertised from the water. And no parking…

It’s a small lot. Nearby mostly condos and townhomes.

It was sold at 875k in 2007 as a new construction. A negative return in the last 11 years.

Is this a good deal? Should the buyer underbid?

Looks like a good deal, if you find parking

It has one garage space and one extra parking place. So you should be ok unless you have visitors.

I don’t see any garage picture. It says detached garage and 1 parking spot. Most likely a condo or townhomes ownership.

It’s now a Redfin hot home. Will it be sold over asking?
