Looking for house with a max 2.2M budget

What a nice inheritance! Where is my grandpa?

Wow! Whoever owns these does not want to be known! I have never had issue before finding an owner via city-data.com, but this time these things are not listed!

Only thing i can find is:
10315: http://www.arivify.com/property/search/C4OPbY60u
10355: http://www.arivify.com/property/search/p25LdgxKY

If this is the person (Carole L Garcia), she owned other properties in Los Altos, but they are not for sale right now.

Oh yes–all the same person:

Actually, she’s probably dead. And sitting on lined coffin. But her kids are going to be set for life.

Good detective work!!

I find PropertyRadar pretty useful for those information, but it is not free. I don’t have subscription anymore, but I normally get it when I am in the market, knowing your seller give you a lot of strategies for you.

How about this 4-plex in PA?

5 cap…

Looks like the deal felt thru. Now the house is back on market, with a price hike of 347K !!

Dang it!
I feel so miserable reading these topics about investing.

Anyway, I don’t want to be a rich guy. The new revolution is going to take care of all “establishment”. Those behind “that guy” are spouting nonsense, hating millionaires, billionaires and anybody that has been profiting from everybody. :fork_and_knife:

On the topic:
guile: It seems there are no kids in the family, right? I believe you need to plan ahead in case one or two show up. For that, you need to live next or close to a good school for your kids.
You can buy a home in RWC, San Mateo, and so on, but again, kids, appreciation and good schools are, and need to be a discriminatory elements in your search for the dream home.
Also, charter schools are improving, they may give good results in a few years. Stay tuned on that dial, good schools for your kids if any, otherwise don’t delay on buying a home, once you have decided on buying it, do it. No matter if prices go down or up, just get the house you like and be happy.

From your lips to God’s ears.

This one went pending again. Long history of deals falling thru. What’s the problem? Price too high? At current asking price it’s $2,006 per foot!
