Speaking of transparency. Flynn resigns, Benghazi for years but not for this traitor?

Degradation of the language is one of Trump’s most grievous sins.

In January, Vanity Fair attempted to answer the question: “Exactly How Much TV Does Donald Trump Watch in a Day?” They did so by producing this utterly frightening roundup:

“Early on in the campaign, Trump told Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press” that he gets military advice from TV pundits. He couldn’t get through a 50-minute Washington Post interview without repeatedly looking at the TV and commenting about what was on it. In November, during the transition, The Post noted that, based on his biography, ‘He watches enormous amounts of television all through the night.’ And just this week, a source told Politico that Trump’s aides are being forced to try and curb some of his ‘worst impulses’ — including TV-watching, apparently: ‘He gets bored and likes to watch TV … so it is important to minimize that.’”

A piece in The New York Times in the first week of Trump’s presidency noted: “Still, Mr. Trump, who does not read books, is able to end his evenings with plenty of television.”

Trump has the intellectual depth of a coat of paint.

At no time is this more devastatingly obvious than when he grants interviews to print reporters, when he is not protected by the comfort of a script and is not animated by the dazzling glare of television lights. In these moments, all he has is language, and his absolute ineptitude and possibly even lack of comprehension is enormously obvious.

In the last month, Trump has given interviews to print reporters at The Times, The Associated Press, Reuters and The Wall Street Journal. Read together, the transcripts paint a terrifying portrait of a man who is simultaneously unintelligible in his delivery, self-assured in his ignorance and consciously bathing in his narcissism.

In Trump world, facts don’t matter, truth doesn’t matter, language doesn’t matter. Passionate performance is the only ideal. A lie forcefully told and often repeated is better than truth — it is accepted as an act of faith, which is better than a point of fact.

This is one of the most heinous acts of this man: the mugging of the meaning, the disassembling of rhetoric until certainty is stripped away from truth like flesh from a carcass.

Degradation of the language is one of Trump’s most grievous sins.

Democrats can still filibuster in the senate and kill any legislation they don’t like. So Republicans can’t simply pass any legislation they want. Obama had a majority (also not filibuster proof in senate), and it took 2 years to pass Obamacare.

This could have been avoided had the DNC not screwed Bernie out of the nomination. Bernie was polling way ahead of Trump head-to-head.

The funny thing is you still think one party is good and one party is evil. You haven’t come to the realization that big government is evil no matter which party runs it.

Personally, I wish we’d get back to what the federal government is supposed to be according to the constitution. It’s time we start recognizing the 10th amendment. The federal government was originally supposed to have very limited powers. We can go back to federal government spending being <5% of GDP. Taxes would be very minimal. States can decide how much they want to tax and what programs they want to run.

Obama had a majority (also not filibuster proof in senate), and it took 2 years to pass Obamacare. Senate? Would you be kind to remind me how many republican senators are there in the senate? By the way, did Obama promise to pass Obamacare in 30 days or so easy because I am me?

See Marcus, the republicans recently were able to pass a resolution to not shut down the government. So, where is that we don’t see the AHCA passing? Why? Because not even the republicans wanted it! They didn’t even have a plan! They were bitching and bitching for 6 years or more…but no plan on hand! Was there one? Reaaaaaaaaaaaaally!
Let’s see the resolution passing in congress, passing the senate is another thing. Let’s see it! What? You can’t? Why?
Oh daddy! I can’t move, if I go walking to the next block, I will be beaten! Buahhhhhh!

Gee man! are you that dense?

This could have been avoided had the DNC not screwed Bernie out of the nomination. Bernie was polling way ahead of Trump head-to-head. What does Bernie have to do with this topic? Oh, you liked Bernie? I didn’t that much, he couldn’t have made it at the end with Russian’s bots at the helm.

The funny thing is you still think one party is good and one party is evil. You haven’t come to the realization that big government is evil no matter which party runs it. Oh, on this one I agree with you. But I haven’t seen you complaining but “the democrats”, isn’t it?
I go for the less evil. Our country is being sold to special interests on the oil and corporate industry, both of them support each other, I can dare to say they are controlling the government as of now. Nothing to be enacted or on the make is for the people. Really, from AHCA to take women-worker’s rights away in the workplace. Don’t mention the bunch of people put in government positions because they paid all of the republicans approving them to posts where they showed they hated such programs, DeVos at the education department? A total failure. HUD? Another dumbass. Perry? Transportation dept. under a lady who’s parent was involved in drug dealing. Really?
Did you bitch when Goldman Sachs aka wall street was hired by Twhitler? Did you? Don’t you see the stupidity of going against what the new trend is, renewable energy? And here you have, a guy supporting the destruction of our pristine rivers for the pleasure of the coal miners, whom by the way, are going out of business no matter what

[/quote] I would fail to go beyond my skills here. The only thing I know is that there are restrictions, rules, penalties for how the government should work. You have the smart idea of having a government so small, but efficient.
Oh well, now you have it. Twhitler, Jared, and Ivanka running most everything what is supposed to be done. Add Bannon to the recipe, and you see that emoluments clause is not there to be applied, nepotism and corruption have set a foot in the white house. What happened to the “Benghazi” republicans? All the corruption, all the traitors working for, or in cahoots with the Russians. Sessions under oath lying about meeting the Russian Ambassador? The guy who is supposed to be the law guy lying under oath no matter how simple the meeting was? Really? Had it been a democrat, oh boy! Benghazi!

Dare you to deny it.

Do you even know what a filibuster is or that you need 60 seats in the senate to avoid one? Clearly, you don’t. The house approved the spending bill 382-30. So clearly a bunch of democrats voted for it too. It passed so easily in the senate it was only a voice vote. Again, a bunch of democrats clearly voted for it.

Who were the top campaign donors of Hillary and Obama? Hint: it’s the same specialist interests you are allegedly against.

Hillary lied under oath and ran for a higher office. Sessions resigned. If you don’t see the difference, then I’m not sure I could explain 2+2 = 4 to you.

Nepotism, welcome to the white house!

Lol, I’m just going to sit back and laugh at you.

Laughing still at the thug trying to intervene and threatening the other branches of government?

But, but Obama, but Benghazi…:scream:

either elect more Republican Senators in 2018 or change the rules now to 51%. Our country needs a good “shutdown” in September to fix mess!

— Donald J. Twhitler (@realDonaldTrump) May 2, 2017

Daddy! I will shutdown the water, somebody is not watering my roses!

http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/331512-trump-us-needs-a-good-shutdown

Yes, I’m still laughing at you. It’s funny to see what you think is important.

But Benghazi, but emails. The idiot in the white house trying to order the other two branches of government to do what he pleases is a funny joke for idiots.

It’s like watching a birther. I guess it’s going to be a long 3.5 years for you (maybe even 7.5 years). Democrats may want to focus on getting their own act together and running a fair primary, or you’ll probably get 4 more years of Trump. Hillary is seriously considering running again. That’s laughable.

Let’s keep the eye on the ball…Russian kiss assers everywhere working for the bad hombre Twhitler, and they are all republicans.

I want the same scrutiny, the same amount of investigations as of in Benghazi. Anybody opposing that is a Russian Putin lover. We are witnessing the destruction of what once was called the patriotic America. For money, these republicans can sell their mothers down the river. Don’t be one. Are you?

Only, I repeat, only an idiot wouldn’t understand what’s going on…

Reports: Trump team asked Obama admin. for help because of Flynn

The national security transition team from Twhitler asked the Obama administration secret documents on a Russian and they got it within days. Flynn, as the turd, idiot, sellout American as some people I know, didn’t read the documents or played dumb because he was the top agent in Twhitler’s administration. Duh!

Is there, in this country a smart person who can support these idiots in the white house? Is this person supporting a traitor and doing so becomes a traitor?

FLYNN STOPPED AN OBAMA’S MILITARY PLAN AGAINST ISIS BECAUSE HE WAS ALREADY BEING PAID BY TURKEY!!

Separately, McClatchy News Service reported Wednesday that before Trump took office, Flynn had blocked an Obama administration military plan, opposed by Turkey, against the Islamic State group. Unknown to the Obama administration, Flynn had been paid more than $500,000 to advocate for Turkey’s interests.

McClatchy says Flynn declined to OK a request from Obama officials to approve a military operation involving the IS stronghold of Raqqa, effectively delaying the operation. The Trump team had been asked since the operation was likely to be carried out after Trump took office.

Turkey has long opposed U.S. forces working with Kurdish forces.

Let’s keep the traitors under scrutiny!

Open lips, sink ships!

That child in the white house is telling everybody where he puts his cookies! What a not smart person.

:stuck_out_tongue::stuck_out_tongue::stuck_out_tongue::stuck_out_tongue:

Excuse me, excuse me, get the f out of my way!

We are doomed America. We really are. Look at this so called president. Shoving this NATO guy just because he wanted to be in the front row for a picture opportunity?

Man! I despise this guy, really.

What a bum!
What a disgrace for this country to have such a petulant, abusive leader.

Kushner is in big pile of crap as of right now.

The senior adviser to the president trying to have a back channel communication with the Russians?

Any traitor supporting this other traitor?

I know you will make an opinion defending your corrupt president, you can’t resist, can you?
