The biggest problem of EV is the cheap gas vs the high price of EV.

Hybrids will vanish very likely.

Reason: All electrics cars manufacturing costs are very less as they use less components, but they sell at gas car price. In addition, some government subsidy which will vanish in few years.

The main issue is battery retaining power and changing time. Charging time 30 minutes is mostly acceptable and they may reduce to 15 mins or 10 mins in 5 years.

Most of the gas powered cars have 250 ro 300 miles/gas tank range. Bolt and Tesla reached this range now.

Since the profit margin is very high in fully electric cars (without even govt subsidies), this is the way to go. Consumers elective vehicle running cost is less expensive. I used to spend appx $500/month on two gas cars, but now it is appx $80/month.

All the off peak hours electric usages are related to car charging 11 PM to 7 AM.

Buy Bolt (if you do not like model 3) and you will not feel anxiety ! AlL EVs have default charger that you can plug-in 110 v lifeline charge.
