In the Richmond district Gypsies have been known for marrying old men and stealing their apartment.
The recent Supreme court decision about illegal immigrants had to do with squatting. An immigrant illegally squatted in a vacant house and the police caught him. Immigration official categorized this as a violent crime because it supposedly could have become violent under certain circumstances. The supreme court said the law was too vague to be constitutional.
I’m amazed there’s no standard definition of violent crime. I think CA has gone too far the other way. Hardly anything is a violent crime anymore, so they can release more prisoners .
