Austin MSA vs SFBA and TX vs CA

We have 3 cars and all 3 are in BOTH our names. Otherwise would have scored $1200 instead of $800. Dang!!

Anyways, I guess this money is being paid out of Newsom’s pockets and a gift from him to CA residents? (Sarcasm)

Sell one and reinvest.

Bad situation for CA residents and you’re right it is happening slowly.

Need to find some $100 cars

Why do you need 3 cars? Older kid(s)? Your wife WFH.

It’s amazing the psychology at play. There could just be an approach to minimize taxes and let people keep what they earn. Instead, they want to tax everyone as much as possible then give some money back to people when there’s too much complaining. That creates the mindset that people should be great full that the government gave them back some of their money. They wouldn’t need to give it back if they weren’t taking it in the first place. People need to wake up.

I think max 2 cars

  • Payments would be capped at $800 for anyone with more than one vehicle registered under their name, though households with multiple vehicles registered to different family members could receive far more than that amount

And we know how efficient govt, specifically CA or CA like govt is with public money.

If people equate “free” money like kids equate “Santa Claus bringing them presents” what can you do?

I once saw an interview with a Data Scientist/Software_Engg in AOC’s district, defending why he supports her, I realized going to college and learning to code doesn’t allow one how understand market economics works and why it’s good and humane. There were plenty of Physicists and Nuclear scientists and Engineers in erstwhile Soviet Union and look where the country ended up.

Is that good for Austin?

My friend up in Austin ( she was moved from Houston few years already) complaining food sucks compare to Houston. And i just took a trip to Houston to check things out. although many restaurants, but majority of them can’t even compare to bay area, not even close especially chinese food(pretty bad).

What factors are Rob talking about?
