The Bay Area is literally one of the most consistently unaffordable parts of the country. You’ve always argued that’s nothing to worry about and is a sign of desirability. I guess no other area is allowed to have low affordability. That is clearly 100% logical.

we are those Bay Area people who desperately want to leave, but can’t pull the trigger due to the jobs here. even though both DH and I are still remote, we are not sure if we want to be at these companies forever and therefore…stay here and complain.
