I have talked to some of them. They tell that they do not kill an unborn animal to eat. They slaughter fully matured and grown up animal. I do not agree with them. But that is what they say.
Abortion vs Women’s rights was resolved by Roe vs Wade. The religious right keeps chipping away at it.
We have laws governing treatment of farm animals - and lab animals. Just not humans under a certain age.
Society is dynamic and it changes with time. Roe vs Wade is on its way out as we know it. However, I do expect some kind of exceptions to remain for the extreme cases like incest, deformed fetus, miscarriage etc, described in your graphics. Also, the Texas law only makes abortion illegal after the fetus comes alive ( it has a heartbeat and it can feel the pain).
Support for Roe outnumber the opposition by 2-to-1 margin. And it has been remarkably stable over the decades.
Maybe people should look at the data first before they open their mouths.
Most people answering poles don’t understand what Roe v Wade did. It did NOT legalize abortion. It made it a federal issue instead of a state one. Overturning it would change nothing in states which support it.
Here, polling on abortion itself, not Roe. 59% support it being legal in all/most cases.
This issue has been settled. Republicans reopen it at their own perils.
Fir yawl moving to Texas. Here’s a language and culture course.

Abortion will remain legal. What will not remain legal is when it is performed (like when fetus comes alive) and under what conditions.
“Republicans are weaponizing the tool that Democrats thought they owned, which was civil enforcement,” Brammer said. “They’re following the tactics that Democrats have used for years, for decades, and they’re doing it for conservative causes.”
Hard to argue a boomerang effect when the strategy has already been employed against Reps for decades.
I hope these do gooders run up against the same hard nosed bureaucracy that have harassed legitimate builders for the last 50 years. It will be good for the left to learn that bureaucracy is an equal opportunity hater that has no boundaries when it comes to stopping and slowing down development. My friends that work for the Homeless Coalition have run into the buzz saw of South Lake Tahoe building and planning. The city is requiring code ungrades and expenses that are unnecessary. As tax payers we pay double. We pay both sides to argue over who is the most righteous. Meanwhile screwing over taxpayers doubly,

China and California are learning from each other on how to build a wall of secrecy around covid.
The Chinese have long faced state secrecy, stonewalling. Now the world is seeing that with covid-19.
CA, specially south Bay Area has gloomy future compared to TX for sure. San Jose has so much paper wealth and still the downtown San Jose has become so unsafe, on par with SF now. The entire downtown is filthy and full of homeless. I now have firsthand taste of it. Next to a 711 in main downtown location - Google Maps - I was harassed by a couple homeless. One homeless guy apparently stole a popsicle and offered my 8 year old daughter and crack to me simultaneously. I went to the 711 to find respite with my daughter and they followed me there. Well this 711 gas station apparently is the hub for criminal activity. Some homeless even carry gun in broad daylight. I really wonder how San Jose downtown is even livable.
