Since I was curious, I contacted Zillow home buying service to give me offer on my Austin house. I am quite surprised by the offer coming back - 50% up from the price I purchased 5 years ago. I think last 20% or so happened in last 12 months alone.

Approxly correct Didn’t realize Pflugerville is suddenly so loved 
Always thought is 78717 for schools and 78727 for proximity to Apple Campus and The Domain.
Edit Nov 29: After some thought, may be because the houses there have large built-in. My rentals have square footage from 3000-3500 sqft 4 bedrooms 3.5 baths + study room, game room, men’s den, laundry room, mud room, MM room…

Yeah, I mean who’d want to live in a city without homeless issues, poop on sidewalks, used drug needles, high property crime rates, erosion of property owner rights, and all the other amenities that liberal policies provide. People must have some sort of mental illness to leave a place then vote for the same policies in the new place. The optimism that this time those policies will have a better results is literal insanity. We already know the results of the policies, since they’ve been repeated. Expecting them to miraculously produce an utopia the next time defies all logic and reason.
