BASIS private school shuns Technology

I agree with this. I really don’t see technology as being useful as a teaching aide.

Unless the kids are learning about coding and need to use computers specifically to run codes.

The institute of the feeble minds

Is a long story, some of you might have heard of it. In the future, adults would be transferred skills using a machine, everybody is called professionals. Those who can’t be transferred skills are sent to the institute of the feeble minds to learn from books and start from first principles. One disillusioned kid wanted to commit suicide because he was sent to the institute whereas his friends became professionals. The dean ask him, “Who do you think created and continually update those transferred skills programs?”

students who wished to text throughout the day or order lunch through delivery apps like DoorDash.
