The worry comes from the idea that the 400k household income may not last, because people realize it’s exceptionally high for regular folks who just happen to be in the hot profession at the moment. I am not saying the work they do is easy, but probably not worth 400k given the level of intellectuals required for many of the 400k positions. 400k may seem common now but the rest of the country/world will gradually catch up to reduce the edge they currently enjoy.
