Blame The Democrats Again!

Two words: Means Testing

If anybody or everybody simply look it up as to how someone like me wants to apply it to rents, how can they honestly say it is not a fair system? We just want a fair, level playing field!!! Does it really make sense that after a contract has run its course that you want one party to still stick to its terms essentially by saying that price must continue. Who does that?

Study NYC rent stabilization program. Only lower income people AND low end rental have rent increase limit

Europeans have no hope of social advancement. How about Tech innovation??. Chance of owning a home??In France you have to buy from an old person and hope they die. Sorry but Europe is just a fantasy land for socialism and a cute place to visit.

France home ownership rate is higher than US. Europeans have access to all the tech invented in the Bay Area. They benefit from tech just as much as Americans outside of SV.

It’s a fine place to live.

Because of rent control? Strict rent control will increase homeownership and reduce rental inventory

There are tarrifs on everything. People are paid less and pay more. Great place to visit. But expensive and very restrictive. I have visited many times. One of my best friends is from Mulhouse. He hated living in Paris.
Cool if you like spending your days in cafes. Not so great if you like outdoor adventure.

Not matter how much liberals fantasize about Europe we will never be like Europe.

Unfortunately liberals want us to become as miserable as the French

A report last month estimated that France is squirming under 400,000 directives, ranging from the amount of boiled egg a kindergartner can eat at lunch – half an egg – to precise requirements on how far mailboxes can stick out from the wall. The directives have cost little towns, such as Albaret-Sainte-Marie, more than €1.9bn ($2.5bn) over the past four years, the report estimated.

Trump is a breath of fresh air. Image less regulation not more.

23% of the French work for the government spending all their time telling other French how to live
7% of Americans work for the government

Therond said the problem has grown acute because France increasingly has a mindset in which all risks must be eliminated, what is called “the principle of precaution”. “But you just can’t do that,” he objected.
