Pacific Graft and Extortion should have been broken up years ago. The problem is if the state takes over it will be used by progressives as revenue generating machine for socialists for give aways.

Of course they are, that was the original plan all along. If they state can’t effectively regulate the utility, then how can they effectively run it? Without pesky things like profits, they can turn the utility into a massive money loser like public transportation. All on the tax payer’s dime. Expect tons of programs for renewable energy, free electricity for EV charging, and all sorts of other things that excite leftists.
