Why ride bikes when there are cars. This is not innovation but a step backward in time. Ridiculous. And sharing??? Only an impoverished nation like China would ever want to share their vehicles. We well to do folks here in America like to own our vehicles outright… 
Tourists love them. Of course they won’t replace cars

A bike is even better for the environment than your Tesla. Maybe they are super environmentalists? I notice them a lot around public transportation. People use them since it’s faster than walking to reach their final destination.
Tons of people here use the bus system. I think it’s $2.50 to get on and you can get off anywhere you want. There’s extensive coverage in the city and express buses from the suburbs.
How about walking??? Even more environmentally friendlier than a bike! Because the metals and tires gone into making a bike also consumes unnecessary resources and creates junk when no longer needed…
