Buy n hold becomes better after 2009, so you are smart to change plan.
This style is not uncommon, itās a matter of taste. You can tell this was a major rebuild (10ā ceilings). The finishes/details arenāt the standard builder issue. Itās pretty good wih the type of stucco finish, trim work, and tile roof. The only thing that calls out standard finish is the garage door. It looks off when you have a 7ā door with a 10ā wall, particularly when itās so prominent from the curb. Our eyes arenāt used to the ratio presented.
It checks a lot of boxes for home buyers.

Looks like they added 300 sq ft. (Presumably 1BR and .5 bath?)
Sold @$1.4M in 2017, asking $2.4M.
Size is huge, almost looks like rebuild. Discounted at $676 / Sq. Ft only.
cmonā¦you cant include garage in the sq ft. In-law unit is fine.
At least the front is not a rebuild. The front porch has been added. Roofline in the front otherwise is the same. See the original on google maps.
