When asked which area is the most undervalued, the best-buy area in San Francisco, the breaded agent-bro said: Bayview.

There you go, stamp of approval from CNBC.

Hard to find value in SF…

Similar priced homes in Walnut Creek offer a 4/3 on 1/2 acre…In South Lake Tahoe Keys…4/3 waterfront

Well, that was not exactly a revelation to mention Bayview again. I did a quick look on Redfin for recently sold SFHs in Bayview. Prices of course range all over the place but what I saw that looked decent enough to me came in the 800ks. Again, why would anyone pay 800k+ to live in an up and coming area like Bayview? If you can’t afford it, you can’t afford it, I get that. But I honestly believe smart people, when seeing this, then turn to the more established residential areas. like the Sunset or Richmond, and then prefer to take their chances there instead (meaning outer avenues if necessary). Not everyone has a timeline thinking of 10 years down the road. Or longer. Not everyone is open to roughing it a few years in hopes that they survive to some level of gentrification or reasonable safety level. Not that she would do it, but I wouldn’t want my beautiful wife taking muni after work in the winter when it gets dark early and say have to walk a few blocks to home. It ain’t worth it to me…
