MSFT acquired GitHub for $7.5B in stock

Kind of ironic when he said that he wants passive income. May be he is a little short-sighted?

The WA founded ate shitty because you can tell right away their proposals were not serious. Anybody remember they charged $1 a year for using WA shortly before the FB acquisition? What a joke of a rev plan.

Instead these shitheads just pocketed billions and continue to burn shareholders’ money, ie my money, and actively drag feet on WA development. They even opposed enabling payment for the Indian market.

If they were so upset about privacy donate all their ill gotten FB gains to charity. What a bunch of hypocrites.

No whatsapp was charging 1$ for quite a while. you are not making any sense. The guys said yes to money, you would too. that doesn’t give you the right to call people shitheads or anything like that.

You can’t sell your company for $17B then not want it to generate any revenue. No one pays $17B for a company to not generate revenue.

Not necessarily, not always. You can sell other products to users of the thing you buy.

Microsoft selling Visual studio or azure licenses/things while keeping github free.

You mentioned github has saturated the market, but they haven’t saturated enterprise. Their user count means literally nothing.

Apple list is missing PA Semi and a music service. I can’t remember the name of it.

The windfall will make billionaires of Tom Preston-Werner, Chris Wanstrath and PJ Hyett, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, and shake up the ownership ranks of the world’s largest software company. The transaction will turn them into some of Microsoft’s biggest individual shareholders.

Forgot to post this yesterday:

I need to get a primer on all the security players.

You owned PANW. Till need research?

Got shaken out of PANW last week. This year has been very difficult.

Just buy and hold TSLA forever. What’s so difficult about that?

Not with a 3-5x portfolio margin, not the 30% that you’ve.

You have that?
