Isnât Cupertino becoming a relative bargain now? It seems the price premium for Cupertino has decreased as Sunnyvale and Santa Clara have boomed. Cupertino schools are much better than Sunnyvale or Santa Clara.
From the school perspective, it is a bargain but the newer generation are either DINK or single who donât care about school that much and prefer shorter commuting. Sunnyvale allows them to rotate amongst hi-tech firms or without changing houses or husband and wife work in different hi-tech firms.
Asking a 60 year old man what do late 20s/ early 30s folk sthinks? Ok, I would attempt. Distance from Cupertino to Google HQ and PANW HQ is much farther than from Sunnyvale in Plymouth Dr area.

Americans are getting married later and later. The average age of first marriage in the United States is 27 for women and 29 for men, up from 23 for women and 26 for men in 1990 and 20 and 22 (!) in 1960.Mar 15, 2013
It implied that the most recent marriage is later than 27-29
Say out of 10, 9 1960s couples are married at 21, the most recent 1990 couple would have married at 91
People get married late maybe because of divorce lawyers.
Lawyers will make marriage a scary legal pithole. If unmarried parents break up, they donât need to go through a divorce. The kids might endure less damage due to divorce fighting.
If no one gets married anymore, divorce lawyers will starve to death. After that, people may want to get married and get married early.
Also as more women work and earn enough to live on their own, marriage might lose its economic basis. Child support is based on biological connection, not the legal connection. Marriage contract mainly protects the non working spouse.
As more women work and more men stay home, we may have a decrease of marriage as well.
