Thats the whole point. The alternatives are pretty bad… imagine heading for the gym every time you need a shower.
That doesn’t sound too bad to me…I go to the gym often enough to not mind a few more trips. Might even entice that person to exercise more.

these are mobile parks, the house on it depreciates, and land is not yours. What’s to buy?
I’m not sure the rules. My mom lives in a place like that in Florida. She owns the land. She’d only buy if she could own the land. There the lot rent increases are capped at 5% a year. They were $1,000/mo 10 years ago. 5% a year can be brutal on a fixed income. It was much better to buy the lot, but you can’t do that in all communities.
