Portable ones are much better than cast in place concrete ones incorporated into a pool…More jets, features, easier to maintain or replace…

Not sure. It’s a small one for 3 ppl came with the house
I prefer portable. Less work/no work, easy to trash. Houses with old pools don’t look appealing, and first thing i think of is to close it up and open up more yard with grass.
Though, i need a house for it first hah!

My first house in Tahoe had a 10 year old gas heated inoperable hot tub…They don’t even make gas heated portable tubs anymore…I cut it up and hauled to the dump…

I don’t find hot tubs appealing unless they are filled with mineral water. I’d rather go on a weekend trip to a local resort with mineral springs. No maintenance too.
I like those big spa baths that some houses have, that live in a regular bathroom (though bathroom has to be big enough.) Lots of those nice tubs in Vegas properties for some reason. It’s easier to predict if you’ll use something like that as you know if you take a lot of baths already.
