Those are lame people. At the minimum you can drag on closing on the selling part. Spell it out in the selling contract.
For you since you are doing private on both sides it’s not an issue.
Well, they obviously tried and perhaps were too confident that they would find something within 45 days. Wrong! See, I am an opponent’s worst nightmare. I consider all possible scenarios and expect the worst to happen. The only time something backfired totally unexpected was when I held one of my special bachelor parties. Come on, I got the OK from the most important person in the room, the bride. She said, go for it! Okay. Sure enough, another buddy’s wife whom I was very close to got upset…and her husband wasn’t even there!!! (SMH)
