Tankless hot water heater

Right, but that Essency model is also requiring 220 service just like a heat pump water heater. What’s the difference? I am not talking about tankless. That Energyguide usage of $640 is hardly efficient when you really look at the numbers.

The essency is the functionality of a tankless. It’s endless hot water. The heat pump is at most an 80 gallon tank. I go through 40 gallons very fast with all the shower heads.

Well, good luck! In the current house, I went with Navian combi boilers to run my domestic water and radiant floor heating and frankly not too impressed with the annual need to maintenance them. At least with the old gas water heaters they pretty much worked all the time.
