This one went even higher. Smaller lot, newer build.

My place in Fremont is in the wrong neighborhood!
whats your zip code?
94538, I think itās in the Irvington area? Iām not familiar with Fremont at all.
Youāre rich. You donāt even know where your money is invested
Anyways, searching with that zip code on redfin will show you the geographical boundaries of that zipcode.
Well, rising tide lift all boats (assuming itās not leaking ).
When I say I donāt know Fremont, Iām more talking about I donāt know what areas are ānicerā or ābetterā besides just the price. If I just look at price action for my Oakland places, I would think āomg, that area must be amazing,ā but in reality I donāt want to even drive through the area at night. Maybe Iām just chicken

crime is not a problem in Fremont in any area AFAIK.
Schools and commute primarily determine area attractiveness.
Fremont has struggled to get developers to build nearly enough housing affordable to people who earn lower wages.
A crock of bureaucracy bullshit. Get rid of the building department zoning rules and red tape. Then maybe someone might try affordable housing development. Otherwise they will build nothing. The money will be spent where profitable. Not on dreams projects for clueless politicians.
Considering the large size of the house, it sold at a great price.

This is a crazy high price for Fremont. Buyer went nuts???
$500K over estimate
500K over and 3.5M for not Mission San Jose school. Thatās a bit surprising.

Thereās always normal distribution, outliers and subsequently trends. Time will tell where this one lies and whether itās indicative of any trend.
300K over
Hitting 1000 per sqft for 2400 sqft houses. Letās go Fremont!
2 recent sales in Danville near me - went 500k over ask and $1000/ft2 as well - the market is still going up somehow???

IMO.
The more remote/hybrid work becomes pervasive possibly in the future, it will help nicer areas which are safe and have great schools such as Danville, parts of Pleasanton, Fremont, parts of Santa Cruz, Marin etc etc - too many to mention here.
I always felt Danville and that whole area as much nicer than Fremont so the high prices donāt seem out of place to me.
The Bishop Ranch area is very nice. Hope more companies will have offices there.
