Of all the down moves since February I was never bothered much. They were head fakes and didn’t have much meat in it.
Except now. This fucking stupid trade war is a a big real test. Trump seems hell bent on screwing us all.

Really? No, February was the real drop. This here now is just a ripple from the effect of that initial drop back in Feb.
If foreign governments fear him he might win. Otherwise bear territory. Any case this is not like the 1930s. The numbers are small compared to GDP. And the US has been a patsy too long.
I am very eager to grab lots of NFLX and NVDA dirt cheap. Still trading pretty high above my purchase price. When will they come down to reasonable price for me to acquire more?
They will not.
When they are cheap you won’t want to buy.
Just like micron is very weak now and you are not buying.
Actually I bought 500 shares. Red now.
Would eventually boost holdings to 2000, yes, double what I had previously.
US economy is in very good shape. That’s why I am so pissed at Trump. This is an absolute own goal.
Well, you can’t expect the market to keep rising without falling. Stocks are so valuable only because they are so volatile.
I don’t get this “we will be the last one standing” macho attitude. It’s like saying I don’t mind a bear nibbling on my arm because I will shoot it dead and I’ll survive and it won’t.
Nobody in their sane mind would do that.
Nasdaq made new highs but not Dow and S&P. Technicals not ideal.
Rolling bears are coming according to MS due to tightening Fed, Trump’s trading war is not a factor for mid term or long term stock movement. It’s only relevant for day traders.
Bears may kill Dow first, then kill S&P, nasdaq will be the last one standing, but not for long.

The Federal Reserve’s monetary tightening, and a less-synchronized global economic expansion, is dealing a series of blows to financial markets in a pattern that ultimately will encompass higher-quality U.S. stocks, according to Morgan Stanley.
Chinese market in bear territory. They are more afraid of tarrifs than America investors.

Correction or bear for S&P?
Blindly accumulating BAT. It really doesn’t matter how low they go so long they bounce back up some time in the future. Is the reason why I only dare to buy BAT and not other Chinese stocks.
Xiaomi is having an IPO next month. Demand has been weak though. I think I will buy some.
Bitcoin maybe a leading indicator. Stupid money goes after bitcoin. When it hit an all time high, stupid money flowed into stocks. Every pundit in January was bullish. Just like in the last two weeks. Bitcoin is crashing. Is the stock market next?
Bitcoin is definitely stupid money
Could southern Illinois be the final frontier for bitcoin miners? Actor William Shatner thinks so, and is recruiting new tenants at solar-powered mining
Buy buy buy!!!

I use to like Lei Jun. However, I notice he doesn’t know how to manage people as well as Jack Ma. He is too much a techie.
Xiaomi is modeling itself after Costco. Lei pledges to keep hardware margin super low and is building and monetizing an ecosystem of xiaomi products and services. It’s a very interesting business model. As far as I know nobody has done that before.

He is modeling after MSFT. However, MSFT screwed the hardware guys. Xiaomi is screwing itself by producing the hardware.
