Update On Inlaw Legislation Progress In SF

I don’t know. I don’t want to follow too closely to these laws. They can always change at the whim of the BOS, and we the landlords could be the ones holding the bag.

Hmm, maybe I should email Ms. Tang and remind her the real reason (rent control) why some folks are balking from inlaw construction…

Rent control is the evil thing Supervisors need to face. Trying to avoid the elephant in the room won’t solve the real problem.

Frankly, I don’t see how it could be remotely “political suicide” to even suggest a fair rent control policy. Shoot, it might actually garner some interest and backing from both sides…

Just throw a little bit of bait to small property owners which does not anger the tenants. Then go 1.5 inch further every year. After some years, tenants will become dis-sensitized, then repeal rent control in SF
