If Prop 10 passes in November due to California Democratic Party’s endorsement, people will stop keeping old homes as rental. Actually I think some people may start selling immediately. There could be a price drop in December and January time frame
Individual cities still have a say. Fremont voted against it recently for example.
Fremont is mostly Chinese and Indian. It’s rent control proof.
Nice! This should be posted also under the “Why We Have Been Loving Fremont So Long” thread…
Not buying that Fremont is rent control proof. They already have a rent review board that landlords fund.
A SFR we were about to bid for 1.85M got its selling price listed in MLS. Sold at 300K less and a little below the list price.
Link?
@Ironduke, where was this? I could not find any home priced around 1.55M in Santa Clara county that got sold in the last week below listing price (or not within 2% of Redfin estimate).
This is in Sunnyvale. Property on a very busy street. I have talked about it here when we took the private tour. Not 1.55M. Sold slightly under 1.5M.
