Sounds great!
(Fearless Leader’s response): When did it become “ours?”
But it’s our collective wisdom that’s of value, it’s not a singularity.
Come on now. This forum is an extension of my family room. Not selling to those blood thirsty VC’s !!!
Come on, they are only offering Bayview numbers…wait until they offer you Burlingame numbers…
I have my eyes set on Hillsborough. Is the house next to Yan-Can’t-Cook for sale? (Man, I really hate that guy for some reason…)
Yeah, other than the annoying Granite Expo commercials what did Mr. Yan ever do to you? Slip you some bad chinese that gave you the runs???
Because he made a fool of himself on TV by speaking broken English and made Chinese people look bad. Other than that I think he’s a good entrepreneur…
This seems to be Martin Yan’s house? Needs @wuqijun’s Property Radar to check it out…
Redfin estimate: 4.2M. But it’s at the top of a T-junction. Bad feng shui!!
This house nearby is indeed for sale!
I can’t handle a 8000-ft house. Why does anyone need that much space?
That’s right. Reminds me of Chinese people belittling themselves to court favor of their white masters. But yes, he’s a pretty good businessman. I saw him once in Millbrae’s Kitchen restaurant. Looks pretty sleazy.
Oh please…Jackie Chan is by far way worse than Martin Yan. Jackie Chan set us back 20 years with his pathetic movies where is he is a laughing stock. God, if it weren’t for Donny Yen, we would be nothin’
Well, just because there are someone worse doesn’t mean the person in question is any good either…
Yes, that is his house I checked.
Yan Can’t Cook is living large in a 4700 ft house in Hillsborough. It was worth close to 1M even back in 1993.
I like him a bit better now. I bet extremely few of the white people who laughed at this little Chinese guy are living in $4M mansions.
Dude, where have you been? EVERYTHING is relatively speaking. Nothing is an absolute, at the end of the day. You want absolutes, we are all going to die one day. How’s that? Happy Thursday…
I don’t get why there’s not an auction platform. The seller can name all the terms they want: # of escrow days, contingencies allowed, days for each contingency, possession, rent back, etc. Bidders submit either a financial statement or pre-approval letter that sets their bidding limit. Then you let the auction happen. It’d be way more efficient than the current process of a bunch of offers, different terms, counter offers, etc.
I used to hate him when I was little. One of my childhood friends hogged the TV all the time to watch him and I couldn’t even get my daily dose of cartoons
Yan looks more Filipino than Chinese…
No. Jackie Chan is a scumbag for other reasons.
