Ohhhh… But then we can’t make this joke:

Jeez. I thought this was a joke on my Whatsapp group. Can’t believe it’s a serious thought from Zuck.
$50bil buyback! Unfortunately, I think it’s time to say goodbye to the stock options from FB.
Have to wait for the moment for FB to nearly realize metaverse before striking… avoid for now.
Is this metaverse a moonshot project? AFAIK, FB’s VR and Portal haven’t been popular.
However, I recently observed a friend’s wife who is still obsessed with FB and doing all stuff on it, so it seems the main social networking product is still good for most people.
Personally, I deleted my FB account beginning of this year after @10/11 years on it.
Isn’t oculus the highest sold?
.
That is why, wait… If already well received, FB would be 2x to 5x current price.
I believe FB will be front runner in metaverse
highest sold in its category(VR) ? highest sold compared to its competitors?
Just trying to understand what highest sold means.
.
No one is a clear winner yet. Also, we don’t know whether metaverse is a dud. The transition to metaverse would be tough. Probably start with many virtual worlds competing with each other.
Metaverse is still some ways to go?
.
At least 15-20 years but many investors seem to think is 5 years away. Is kind of buy and wait.
I think probability is better compared to autonomous driving which is more hard
I shared an article some time back. They have 37% around market share in AR sets. Don’t remember the exact figure though.
better to buy TSLA
. Recent buy already up @45%. But just small amount, enough to buy one Tesla car. ![]()

Are you thinking of virtual worlds? Metaverse is not that easy.
I haven’t looked closely, but read some discussion recently, where people didn’t want to wear a oculus device on their face for WFH meetings.
