Singapore wins by being the best run country in a neighborhood choke full of corrupt, badly run countries. It’s like being a B student in a class where everyone else is pulling a D at best. Lots of rich Hong Kong people are fleeing the heavy hand of Communist China, and many of these escapees are settling in Singapore and Australia.
US needs to up its game. There’s no reason why we are gaining less than tiny Singapore.

All these WS guys want to make things unnecessary complicated. Why are they losing in real estate? Sound like mortgage-backed REIT or commercial buildings. No need for bonds unless you are billionaires. No need for etfs except for S&P (index funds, SPY, VOO, VINIX, etc).
A simpler asset allocation: S&P, real estate, cash, growth÷nd stocks, speculative stocks.

Stumbled upon this interesting graphic. Y-axis is number of hours an average citizen of that country works in a year, and X-axis is GDP per capita.
So the upper left countries are poor and people work their ass off. The bottom right are rich counties with people not working much.
US is rich but we are slightly overworked. But LOL at Singapore. So eager to work but for what?

Come on, Manch, drink the Kool-Aid!!! Singapore is the BEST place to live on Earth, that’s why they are working so hard to just have a morsel of that awesomeness!!! Or, earn that money and then head for the border (Malaysia) for that cheaper living cost and awesome food!!!
