Ok, fine, Lowell is #13…

My nephew went to Lowell but he felt that the competitive environment failed him. He could’ve been happier and more successful had he chosen another school.

It is not for everyone certainly, but I can’t imagine those schools in Cupertino, Fremont or PA are really any different. It is just so competitive these days from an early age.

Best High Schools for STEM.

Top six in California,

Monta Vist High School, Cupertino
Lynbrook High School, West San Jose
Saratoga High School, Saratoga
Mission San Jose High School, Fremont
Henry M. Gunn High School, Palo Alto
Cupertino High School, Cupertino

Choose wisely.

I like Palo Alto

I think Niche rankings are biased. Palo Alto schools are on top of the list for everything. OK, we go to PA school and I think it’s great. But I don’t think it is top in CA or USA.

Best Public School District in CA: Top is PA.

Best Public Elementary Schools in CA: Top 12 are PA schools.

Best Public Middle Schools in USA: Top 3 are PA schools.

Best Public Middle Schools in CA: Well, top 3 in USA are PA schools, so same with CA.

And you already saw list for Public High School in OP.

Objectively done according to criteria.
Criteria are biased :), mainly because of surveys (who you sent the surveys to and behaviors of certain groups greatly affect outcomes of the response, is more a characteristics of that group than a reflection of the school), and diversity criteria.
If you don’t agree with the criteria, you won’t agree with the ratings. I guess is the reason niche also provide rankings based on other criteria such as for STEM, college readiness, etc… Overall ranking might not be what is close to your heart.

Ok, the latest for 2018 by Niche, your fav whipping boy on school rankings…

Not sure where to put this, so putting it here:
