Good piece on Krugmanâs thinking on the corona recession. My own thinking is mostly in line with his.
All that said, right now I donât see the case for a multiyear depression. People expecting this slump to look like the last one seem to me to be fighting the last war.

Why would you say something silly like âI am mostly having Zoom calls with strangersâ for an article that is published in the nytimes? What if one of those âstrangersâ walked back on providing a job introduction after reading this?

Considering he is a Democrat and not a Trumper with an agenda, seems plausible.
I am not a trumper either. One must look at the facts and only the facts. Canât let personal emotion cloud judgement.
