Democrats talk a big game but favor the rich. The rich got rich at a fast rate under Obama. Only now are the lower income people outpacing the income gains of top earners. Of course this will completely disrupt that.

Democrats play the smartest game. Talk a big game about helping the poor while getting the poor to vote for policies that harm them.

Should’ve gotten out of landlording business decades ago… You saw the change happening in first SF, then Bay Area, and now all of of California…

Well at least with extended and higher unemployment benefits and stimulus check, your out of work tenants at least afford possibly pay you rent (if they wanted to).

It like the mafia. Hard to get out. With taxes on depreciation recapture the income tax can be 50%… Boeing fucks up and gets $60b. Landlords follow the rules and get screwed

Who is going to fix the toilets and pay the taxes? Landlords provide essential services. I even provide snow removal. Where’s my check?

The California Apartment owners association sold us out on rent control. I sold my Sacramento apartments. Just have my Tahoe ones left.

More important, the money will not be counted as taxable income. It will be considered a credit, so you can deduct the sum against your future taxes.
