I especially like the idea of having self-storage units down at the basement. Wow! Didn’t think of that! Genius!
We actually thought about doing this in our basement of our Chinatown building. Even adding parking for bikes.

Not a major priority yet. Just like renting a 3 bedroom flat for $1500 a month. Yes, I know, I know…

It’s not the mult fam part, it is mostly the rent control part of it…
Don’t worry, me moving in one day…
I added some storage sheds and a bike rack for my recent purchase. But didn’t charge extra for it. It was part of the package for renting the units. It did let us get good tenants who were willing to pay a little higher then the average for the market

Heh. yah (charging them for it but in a way that didn’t really occur to the tenants). I am sure some of them might have been ticked off if we charged for each item. But by offering it all as part of the apartment offering, we were able to attract a different type of tenant.
