AAPL and Apple

I have been watching Apple for decades now. I don’t recall any other time when a new category of product was rolled out for merely 2 weeks and fanboys already started daydreaming about other toys.

Did fanboys day dream other products after iPhones started going for sale? No. They literally camped outside of Apple stores to buy one. What about the iPads? Same thing.

So instead of camping outside Apple stores to buy an AVP, fanboys now daydream other fantasy products Apple may create.

Spoilers: it will be 5+ years before Apple introduced another new category like rings and eyeglasses. Apple has incredibly high standards for its hardware. They don’t dump things out willy nilly and see what may work or may not work. They will spend the next 5 years focusing on making AVP better. There is a lot of scope for improvement. One of Apple’s key principles is relentless focus. I thought you would know as a long time Apple watcher?

Don’t think you follow Apple that closely. I literally spend my waking hours follow Apple communities and forums since 1997 for decades… didn’t do so for the past few years though. Always have rumors all time of the years. Anyhoo, I’m not Gen AI so I don’t hallucinate.

Actually they did, kind of. You didn’t go to Apple Store. Long queue for demo (can book online for a date now) This is not familiar products, so don’t expect impulse purchase… everybody have experience with cell phones before iPhone. And I don’t recall people queue up for new Mac and Display models.

Rings and Apple glasses have been in development for almost as long as AVP. They are not launched because Apple is still figuring out the go2market strategy.

Was trying to resist not to waste time but still end up spending time to clear up confused mind again.

Opinions of a true early adopter and a serious reviewer.

A blockbuster killer apps like Uber is not expected to appear till early majority phase.

Is Bloomberg reliable? Seem to have replaced MacRumors.com
Project Titan is winding down and move on to Gen AI team. Instead of EV, become Vision Pro

Was $180 before Bloomberg article, now $183s i.e. worth $100k…

Elon is hallucinating. He didn’t call at all. At least nobody tell Tim Cook that Elon Musk calls. Or Elon Musk’s executive assistant didn’t make the call.

Me halluncinating: I call Elon Musk whether I can take a stake in TSLA but he refused to take the call.

Thinking aloud: If I am serious to get in touch with another person, I would call 100 times. And visit his office many times.

This is the problem having an OPERATIONS guy as the CEO of an PRODUCT+INNOVATIVE company.

CAR - 2014-2024
VISION PRO - 2024 -??

:smiling_face_with_tear:

Since Tim Cook took over as CEO on Aug 24, 2011, AAPL gained 12x :moneybag: (13x start price)

Maybe Apple will round trip back down under Tim Cook?

Don’t be envy of my luck streak. You are given a chance to win lotto (NVDA) too but you didn’t YOLO. Other than luck, you need COURAGE. Anyhoo, we are chatting about rumor!!! Don’t draw too much conclusion from it.

Not everything is about you and me individually. Don’t know why you always get personal when discussing your cult religion.

:person_shrugging:

iPhone was introduced in 2007 and 2010. All under Jobs.

Even apple watch was introduced in 2014. Knowing the gestation of hardware products, pretty sure this was kind of done up by 2011-2012.

Cook is just gathering Jobs work and making sure it works like clockwork and making small iterations every year, but breakthrough innovation and new products that customers adore is not his forte

.

Yeah, I believe you.

.

Well, we know that. So?

So, this below. Glad you accepted.

That doesn’t prove that a product guy can do better.
