10%? So high, any academic study on this? The study I read is 7%.

Actually I am clueless of when is the bottom. What I mean is death cross doesn’t always mean more decline. It can also mean bottom is in.

AAPL rocks.

+25% from mid Mar bottom.

Buy n hold :grinning: works very well

Above 50- and 200-day SMAs. Now go for ATH! Too slow, AMZN and NFLX are ahead, catch up FAST please. Only 13% to go :grinning: no longer bear market territory. In correction territory, 10-20% decline.

Looks like the market is way ahead of earnings. It looks like many of the reports show about 20% drop off in business (e.g. Xiaomi report and Apple China shipments per the post above). 20% drop from 2019, puts you around 2017-like financial performance. we are pricing for late 2019/early 2020 like stock numbers… I guess with infinite QE you can throw out the book on business performance.

Another stab at a cheaper iPhone.
Good luck

Prefer to have MBP/MBA with touch screen. When will arm-based MBP/MBA with iOS be ready?

The move would also represent an important step for bridging the gap between Apple’s desktop and mobile experiences. Apple has made significant strides in recent years to make the experience between the Mac and the iPad more consistent to fit with the iPad Pro’s positioning as a productivity device.

Touch screen MBA coming :grinning: Using Apple designed CPUs and chipsets also mean lower price, right?

Earnings:

Results: $58.3B, $2.55 EPS
Analysts expectations (post their warning): $57.8B, $2.24 EPS

Their original guidance in January: $63B - $67B

so they totally missed to the original guidance, but beat the revised expectations.
