Alameda woman says squatters moved into her house, even changed locks

Frankie is now trying to put her life, and her house back together. She doesn’t know why squatters would choose her house. She says a real estate website mistakenly shows her home to be in pre-foreclosure, she says that’s a mistake because she has no mortgage.

She should sue Zillow. Their pre foreclosure crap is a nuisance. And now a liability

Sell your East Bay rentals. Told you high yield means not good neighborhoods.

Likely coincidence. I think somehow these guys knew her mom was sick and thought she’d left for a while to take care of her.

A neighbor nearby had a uhaul van pull up during Christmas vacation and empty out some of his house. A neighbor apparently started arguing with one of the people in the van, and left a note for the guy. No idea if he got his stuff back.

They don’t lock their homes? I thought that would be a must in these neighborhoods. No insurance claim?

How squatters know she has gone to care for her mom? Posted this on Facebook? Only gone for 3 days, squatters came in, changed locks, and “rent” it out, those guys have good info and work fast.
