Is grocery the reason for 1-day delivery strategy? Or 1-day delivery strategy is part of the grocery strategy? Is grocery strategy the new Capex spending to defer corporate tax?

Whether this is a one-off or start of a trend is a multi-billion dollar question. It’s exactly what I’ve mentioned with brands wanting to own the relationship with the consumer and getting higher margins for the brand. Online could start mimicking brick and mortar. Amazon is the online department store, and brands want that business for themselves.

With SHOP and similar software, won’t be that difficult. Is this why AMZN starts going into grocery? And building brick and mortar, and AMZN lockers?

The issue with all of those things is they are lower margin businesses.

How come I never get any samples even though I spend 10s of thousands at Amazon? 
We recommended Udemy. Pluralsight scored slightly higher on the survey, but it is more than 5x the cost per user and another $10k for Okta integration. Udemy doesn’t charge for integration.
The advantage of Pluralsight is their IQ tests which allow people to demonstrate mastery, and it recommends specific training classes to close gaps. The classes are narrowly focused on tech skills though, and Udemy offers soft skills courses as well.
One team is demanding Pluralsight. Now we have to do a live demo of both before the final decision is made. The funny part is the team was asked to participate in the 3 trials and declined. So they literally didn’t use any of the 3 options and are demanding Pluralsight.

I did have my best manager while at Apple. She’s left the company now. That shocked me, since she seemed like she’d be there forever.
