I love squirrels, but using emotional support thing is going too far, like tenant you tell them no pets. afterward you found out they have dogs, they will say these are therapy animal for emotion support, pay dr 40 bucks to get note and you can’t do shxx to them.
Emotional support animals are not the same as an animal that is trained to help disabled people. They are not protected under the law. If you have someone sign a lease that says no pets and they bring in an emotional support animal you can kick them out.

Therapy animal is different but in CA still go against landlord
