I stopped by my old hood in Evergreen and noticed that giant grass field across the street from Eastridge Mall on Quimby Rd was bustling with construction activity. They are building a big batch of houses there.
Location is not ideal. It borders on Quimby and Capitol, both very busy roads. But I am glad some housing is being built at all.
I went to east lake this morning. Confirmed with a waiter owner did change. The yellow feather chicken congee is not as yummy as before, and the sponge cake is not as smooth.
