No one from Wells Fargo’s 17-member “senior leadership team” remains based at the bank’s headquarters in San Francisco, the bank told me Wednesday.
The senior leadership team, as outlined on the bank’s website, includes CEO Charlie Scharf and the C-suite along with other senior executives, such as the heads of several business units.
By January 2022, only one member of the senior leadership team was still based at the bank’s nominal headquarters in San Francisco. That was Chief Auditor Julie Scammahorn, who lost her battle with cancer in February. As recently as February 2020, Wells had four members of its then 15-member senior leadership team based in San Francisco, where the bank (NYSE: WFC) was founded in 1852 amid the Gold Rush.
The possible loss of Wells Fargo’s San Francisco headquarters moved back into the spotlight this week when the bank announced it is building a major corporate campus in Las Colinas near Dallas to accommodate up to 4,000 workers. The bank told me this week, “Wells Fargo is not moving its San Francisco headquarters.”
That’s little solace considering the bank’s diminishing presence in San Francisco, especially when it comes to its corporate leadership. The CEO and much of his leadership team is based in New York, while a handful of the senior leadership team members are located in Charlotte, Wells Fargo’s largest employment center.
So now they’ll raise the prices on all the men’s products.

Man we need mode more composting facilities and need to do way better on sorting.
Many areas just throw organics into landfills since 1) the loads are too contaminated with non-organics or 2) they don’t have commercial composting facility.
I love the compostable bags that Trader Joe’s provides. All my kitchen waste goes in them and the entire bag gets composted in my compost pile. In 4 weeks, everything turns to black gold!

There are places you can live on nothing but SS. Thing is, CA isn’t one of them.
I think you can. If someone receives $2500 per month SS, they can save $1k depending on the place they live. In my area there’s a huge new apt with 1bd $1400 for seniors, insurance covered by medical, free ph, 14gb data, call from truconnect, calfresh $250/ month.
