Maybe the lawyer can share a jail sell with the Michael Avenatti guy. Remember him?
Early 1990s, Time or some other magazine had a cover page article on mismanagement of California. I want to know what was written to compare it with what they predicted and what it turned out. Clearly more people are living in tents and quality of living has degraded.
Most companies are expanding out side the Bay Area (or outside California) even if starting in the bay area with skeleton crew. What will attract people ? The next step in the progression of expanding outside California is that one day they will start and expand outside California.
mental wellness CA fares better than many states
Texas has 28m vs Ca 40 m people but has triple the covid19 infection rate and quadruple the death rate.
Could be that CA was hit harder in the first round. Greater herd immunity. CA’s vaccination is higher than Texas but not by much. Both are below 60%.
Rural areas were spared in 2019. But Delta is far more infectious. So being more sparsely populated confers less advantage.
A lot has to do with general health Older fatter people are more likely to die. Texas diet is lethal
There’s that.
Maybe we’re all doomed regardless.
I have all the major health risks old male overweight etc. But a friends mother, my age just died of pneumonia. No covid19. In good health average weight. People my age 67 and above die… just a fact of life.
I went through a bad stretch in the 90’s’ where 10 people I knew who were below the age of 60 and in good health all died. Most tragic was a 29 year old guy, just married, no health problems, who dropped dead of a heart attack on the tennis court.
Does anyone understand what this article is trying to tell?
I do not know where to put this news. Sorry.
