I think it’s way too low price per sq ft given location and quality. One has to wonder what kind of fines they racked up for the unpermitted addition.
Creepy location
Why?
I think it’s a setback issue so I don’t think it’d easily get permitted. Maybe they tried to get permits, got rejected and built anyways?
Terri,
This is relisting. I saw this listing few months before. Photos are good, but home is not in good location.
This home is at the down hill at a inappropriate location, that in case of rain water slide or water creek may form. Even though it is was (as well as IS) showing redfin hot home, the unpermitted and other location issue makes it not salable.
I understand Elt1 is right on this, but he may also provide more info.
EL Vanada feels like Appalachia…old crappy houses with lots of junk laying around.
Wow! Either there’s a lot of fines to pay or someone got a deal!
Sold for $1.3M

What is wrong with this one ?
Knock it down? Why ?
2/1s are not desirable. Busy street. I built and lived in a house close by…
It does say “move right in or knock it down.” It sounds like they’re advertising it at lot-price.
That looks way larger than 1500 sq ft… Just saying…
Small lot…I would not tear it down…Can only build less than 2500sf
19000 sq ft with adjacent parcel. Is that considered small in the hills?
Says 9720sf…anything under 12k is substandard
