Bellevue: Seattle's Hot Little Sister

what about the traffic? @marcus335

I haven’t done the drive during commute hours. We have buses from 2 spots in Bellevue though. Also, light rail is going there in 2023. I’m bullish on Bellevue E of 405. It’s on my short list of areas to look at buying. Right now, I’m waiting for the HQ2 announcement. I want to see if I’d rather live in there than Seattle.

Seattle traffic hell. @Elt1 is right.

I’ve hear people say it can take 20 minutes to get out of the parking garage under the building. Then it’s 20 minutes to get onto 5. That’s because everyone has to get onto 5. It’s the only way to go north and south. You also need it to get to 90 or 520 when going east.

Went to Seattle twice… traffic during office hours and lunch time is hell.

Worse than 237, 101 or Lawrence Expy?

I don’t travel during office hours  much and for those times I foolishly do, the traffic along 280 and Lawrence is not as bad as Seattle. No experience for 237 and 101.

Captured at 2:20 pm.

My area of operation doesn’t have much traffic
Apparently, traffic along 101 is a killer

My experience with Seattle is heavy traffic

That’s the worst area of Seattle traffic. There’s also too many on/off ramps that use the left lane for merging. That’s a disaster. People in Seattle drive slow even if it’s not raining.
