I don’t see it happening in CA. The candidates are going further left. They have to in order to win primaries.

One party state means going to extremes. That’s true for both California and Luisiana.
Only the swing states are smart and reasonable. That’s why they decide on national elections.
Democrats have always been a big tent party. If they go in the leftist ditch like Bernie forced on Hillary they are doomed.
