I have a friend who bought in Phoenix. They have a backyard pool. It is too hot to use it in the summer. It’s ok to use for a short time in the spring and fall.

My friends who bought in Scottsdale have mixed feelings. The wife bought the place as a 1031. The husband did not approve. Paid $225k. Taxes $800. HOA $300k. Rent $1250. Less than a 5cap. Husband has never seen the place.
