Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Covid-19

I didn’t get a MRI after. I was doing orthovisc and PRP. They started to last for less and less time. The stem cell was a game changer.

Back to CV. Look out elt (and me - I’m already seeing this).

Which joint? Did you have additional work done to stabilize the joint or was it as simple as regrowing the cartilage?

They only inject a certain amount, so there’s a limited amount of stem cells. I can’t remember how many CC it was, but it wasn’t a lot. It was a single syringe. There’s not a ton of empty space in the knee to hold it.

It was my left knee. I did a ton of terminal knee extensions to strengthen the VMO and stabilize it better. I already have strong hamstrings and quads from lifting, but the stabilizer muscles were under developed.

I avoided ACL replacement by putting a tension band around my left and right leg and lifting the affected leg (the left one) up 100 times a day (3 sessions of 33 repetitions). Also 100 squats and 100 back and forth side steps. That and balancing with the left foot on top of an inflated ball. It all built up enough muscle mass to stabilize things without the surgery. Hiking Arizona’s Mogollon Rim keeps up the muscle. Maybe the ACL will snap all the way some day. Or maybe I’ll die of something first. The untreated meniscal tear causes some pain every few years but it’s tolerable. I can’t kick anything real hard with my right foot. And both that injury and the ACL don’t like it if I’m pounding a shovel in with my boot heal and the shovel head hits a big rock causing it to shift sideways suddenly. When that happens it’s time to grab the pick ax.

“We believe very strongly the stay-at-home order has helped advance our efforts in reducing the stress on the system that we believe would have already materialized in more acute ways had we not advanced those protocols when we did,” Newsom said Monday in his daily press conference.

Officially, hospital spokespeople are hesitant to identify trends. But individual doctors say the stay-at-home order has likely helped to keep numbers lower than they would be otherwise.

Not masks

Don’t interact, how to transmit? Obvious
Need to interact? Put up a barrier e.g. Wear masks, glass screen between two interacting. Obvious

Obvious things to do still need to think so hard? How effective, need to assess ofc

You don’t even know how iditiotic americans are, many of them only ask where’s the proof, where’s the report showing this, instead of using 1 second of their brain with common sense.

If asked, many American could easily cite several dangerous global outbreaks from the past two decades: SARS in 2004, H1N1 in 2009, and the Ebola outbreak in 2015.

Every 5-6 years. Next one is in 2025-6

the 2009 H1N1 flu outbreak, which killed more than 12,000 Americans

So far,

Meanwhile, the number of deaths in Singapore has shot up to 6! The new strains from Europe and USA are more lethal than the original strain (no death arising from this strain). Now I am worry about the coronavirus continues to mutate into progressively more lethal strain so we have to beware of the 3rd wave coming from different epicenter (likely to be from Southern Hemisphere).

It is a concern but the normal evolution of viruses is that they mutate into less virulent forms. They spread more easily that way because the infected are still on their feet and moving around.
