With its fiscal second quarter 2018 more than half over, Micron preannounced strong quarterly earnings yesterday, predicting that by the time it closes the books on March 1, it will have booked anywhere from $7.2 billion to $7.35 billion in sales, compared to previous guidance of $6.8 billion to $7.2 billion.

Ha ha ha… this goes back to stock investing sin #1: never trade anything other than the stock itself. That means no futures, options, shorting, or any other derivatives. I don’t think this guy has learned his lesson at all. He will try to win it back again with another moonshot bet on some derivatives… bye bye buddy… easy money easy come easy go… 
Many blamed the stock meltdown on short-VIX trades unwinding. It’s sort of what 1987 was about too. Back then it was a futures trade called portfolio insurance.
