No. It’s better for mueller to drag until after the midterm. The Dems will be in power and trump will get impeached.

Mueller is an old fox. He knows if he goes too fast trump will fire him and all his effort will come to nothing.

The Republicans will win in November if the Pelosi/Bernie wing dominates the Democratic field.

I think the Dems are desperate enough they will field whoever has the best chance. Look at the special elections held so far the Dem candidates were very mild some are even pro gun anti abortion. Many of them won, even in deep red trump country.

Yawn. Mueller had a year and has zero evidence of collusion. There’s zero basis for impeachment. Sorry, but being offensive and unpopular isn’t grounds for impeachment. People calling for impeachment have no clue what the law says.

Even the stuff about the porn star is boring. Who cares who he had sex with before he was in office? Also, her lawyer is tied to Obama and Rahn Emmanuel (Obama chief of staff). I can’t imagine why he’d want to make a Trump look bad. Why didn’t she speak up before the election? Now that Hillary lost democrats are throwing a tantrum and doing anything possible to impede Trump. It only makes them look stupid, becisse they don’t have a platform to run on. The DNC is broke. Their narrative that the tax cuts would be a tax increase for the middle class and leave people dying on the streets is now proven to be total BS. What is left of their platform?

Dems could turn into centrist and fire Polesi. But that means a reform of the party, not sure if California and New York will agree

Only Mueller and his team know the full extent of what he has. Seems to be biding his time, slowly building his evidence while D becomes increasingly paranoid and cycles through lawyers. Time will tell, but I suspect he he’ll go after Kushner or Jr. first – already lot of public evidence suggesting both are dirty. How far will the boss go to protect his family?

Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one. The midterm election is incredibly important given how far Republicans have already demonstrated they will go to protect their leader (think Nunes the stooge running over to the WH to share the blow by blow). Mueller is smart to wait and see if the landscape improves after the midterms.

The issue with the porn star and playmate is not the sex. Heck, all of congress might as well be having affairs. The lying and payoffs are behavior I’d expect from Al Capone, not a democratically elected world leader. Dude’s got a problem with the truth – he admits it, even brags about it!

Btw, wouldn’t be surprised if Kim and D got along swimmingly. Strong men from the same stock, they deserve each other. Too bad the rest of the world will have to suffer the consequences.

China and the U.S. have quietly started negotiating to improve U.S. access to Chinese markets, after a week filled with harsh words from both sides over Washington’s threat to use tariffs to address trade imbalances, people with knowledge of the matter said.

The talks, which cover wide areas including financial services and manufacturing, are being led by Liu He, China’s economic czar in Beijing, and U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and U.S. trade representative Robert Lighthizer in Washington.

In a letter Messrs. Mnuchin and Lighthizer sent to Mr. Liu late last week, the Trump administration set out specific requests that include a reduction of Chinese tariffs on U.S. automobiles, more Chinese purchases of U.S. semiconductors and greater access to China’s financial sector by American companies, the people said. Mr. Mnuchin is weighing a trip to Beijing to pursue the negotiations, one of these people said.

Mr. Mnuchin on Saturday called Mr. Liu, President Xi Jinping’s top economic adviser, whose promotion as vice premier during the just-concluded annual legislative session essentially makes him the country’s economic captain.

“Secretary Mnuchin called Liu He to congratulate him on the official announcement of his new role,” a Treasury spokesman said. “They also discussed the trade deficit between our two countries and committed to continuing the dialogue to find a mutually agreeable way to reduce it.”

I saw China’s new finance minister already commented on opening financial markets.

The opening of financial markets was long planned. So don’t get too excited. China may warm up some old dishes and say they are brand new concessions.
